Did you know Strang's is where instant coffee was invented!?

So many people don't realise it happened in little old Invercargill N.Z and patented in 1890! 

The critters in these works are all inspired by creatures that are not uncommon in a Southland garden. My art studio is situated on my lifestyle block in Otatara and has quite often doubled as a rehabilitation centre for sick birds and other wildlife :D I have a number of artworks in progress featuring these wee creatures that have visited my studio over the years and hope to have x12 created by the end of the year that will be reproduced into a calendar.
